The Experience

The Experience

Our goal with this tournament is to make it the best Go experience possible. Sleeping, meals, training, and entertainment are all part of the package, so players have nothing to worry about except their games. Being in a small village, there are few distractions, just a calm, quiet setting with beautiful natural surroundings.

The days start at 8:00A with a breakfast of breads, cereals, and fruit, followed by one round of play. Next comes lunch at noon with a mix of warm and cold menu options, followed by two more rounds. Dinner on Friday and Saturday evening will include a warm main course with salad and another side dish, followed by a delicious dessert! Dinner beverages include sodas and ice tea, plus wine and beer (in limited quantities). And as soon as dinner's over, the entertainment begins ...

Evening activities include: lectures by In-seong Hwang, movies in the Cinema Room (with popcorn!), jacuzzi, sauna, billiards, table fussball, and a Wii! The Seminar Room on the top floor will be open following In-seong's lectures for casual games and practice.

Early risers and those who finish their games early may have the opportunity to explore some of the many hiking trails, take a walk along the Simme River, or simply lounge on the terrace and enjoy the incredible scenery!
